WalkBoston Annual Party

WalkBoston hopes you'll be there on Tuesday, March 22nd, for their annual party!

This year, our Golden Shoe Awards will recognize people and organizations that have been working diligently to set the stage for Vision Zero in Boston:

• Charlotte Fleetwood City of Boston Vision Zero champion
• Maggie Sachs-Mahmood Inspiring student advocates at Codman Academy
• Boston Project Ministries/Talbot-Norfolk Triangle Neighbors United & Codman Sq. Neighborhood Dev. Corp. Grassroots “slow zone” pioneers

We are inspired by the belief that even one fatality is too many. Boston is one of 20 US cities to commit to Vision Zero, which aims to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries to ensure safe mobility for all. The national Vision Zero Network, led by our speaker Leah Shahum, supports communities in developing strong leadership, policies and practices toward achieving this goal.
